Mark April 17th and 18th in your calendar for a great martial arts weekend in Barrie Ontario. This year there will be special workshops, kung fu certificate gradings, tournament, demos and a fun banquet.

Grand Master’s November School Visits

Sigung visits Tallack Martial Arts Dojo

Grand Master Chong has completed his November tour of the schools in Ontario where he introduced the students to a new kung fu weapon, the Kwan Dao. Since the Kwan Dao form is long and complicated, the Grand Master elected to break the training into 3 parts. The first part was taught in November and at the end of the training session everyone was physically and mentally drained, especially those who actually used the heavy weapon rather than the lighter training sticks.

The first part will be reviewed at the CKKA annual event in April along with next part of the form and the final portion of the Kwan Dao Form will be covered the following November (2010).
